TAP into ART!

Part-Time | Summer 2021

During my tenure at The Art Place, a county arts facility, my largest project was creating and rolling out materials for our summer programming. The coordinator of the facility and I brainstormed ideas regarding the theme, as well as practical tools for parents and guardians signing their children up for classes. After creating and presenting multiple branding options, we decided on a straightforward approach to the summer camp theme playing on the name of our facility after returning to in-person summer camp post-corona.

I compiled and help finalize all summer programming into a digestible brochure, which featured a new two-page calendar spread that displayed all summer programming at a glance for ease of sign-up. I also created a t-shirt campaign available for direct purchase through Bonfire, the proceeds of which went to The Mountain Arts Alliance. I was also tasked with digitizing our intake form, which was quickly adopted by Arts Centers in Cobb County. This was instrumental in ease of drop-off and pickup for classes.

Through our summer email campaign, I was able to easily provide information before the start of summer classes, gather the drop-off information in advance, and promote both the t-shirt campaign as well as our Friday lunch partnership with Chick-fil-A. I also managed our social media accounts, which included taking pictures during summer camps.
